European Collective Redress Circle

I was at the European Collective Redress Circle, organized by Thought Leaders Dispute Litigation, and held in Cascais, Portugal, du 4 au 6 septembre 2025.

Very interactive sessions unveiled the European progress in the field, opportunities and minefields to avoid.

Balanced sessions combined the views of plaintiff and defendant lawyers, as well as other professionals who are indispensable for the smooth sailing during the proceedings.

I have had the occasion to:

- present the new French Group action regime (law, decrees and Circulaire)

- ⁠share the results of my research at the Observatory of Group actions (39 brought, 11 dismissed, 6 admissible, 2 judgments positive for claimants)

- ⁠wear my NGO representative’s hat, to raise the voices of Board directors and the huge responsibility on their shoulders.
